Mental-health hearing
On Wednesday January 16, at 1pm the City Council will hold a historic hearing about an ordinance calling for a task force to explore re-opening mental health clinics. This is just the beginning.
We will hold a press conference before the hearing at 12:30pm on the 2nd floor of City Hall 121 N. LaSalle.
This ordinance is being called for by AFSME and the Collaborative for Community Wellness, a coalition STOP and the Mental Health Movement joined forces with this past year.
